I’ve seen damselfly nymphs (naiads?) before, but this is the first time I got a good look at one’s funny face.
Two summers ago, I bought a 5 gallon aquarium set-up with just rocks for substrate. That summer, I collected various aquatic invertebrates and pond weed for it and had such a cool little ecosystem (completely self maintained, I never cleaned it!) for a little while! I miss it.
